We're a tight-knit team from very different industries.

We celebrate differences, benefitting from varying perspectives in order to speak to the many, not the few.

We've each been working for over ten years in very different parts of our industries - never pigeonholing ourselves to a career ladder, but instead following the projects which have stimulated us and kept us learning.

We communicate ideas and stories through filmmaking.

And we love it. Filmmaking encompasses so much: Photography, Writing, Acting, Design, Sound, Fashion, Choreography, Montage...the lot. With it, we like to say anything that makes us think, question, believe, unite. That which lives on beyond the frame.

On the day to day we're an efficient, versatile, lean team. And when needed, we're a much bigger troupe of freelancers from all walks of life who love working together and do it well.

We make films for you, we make films with you, and we make our own films. Together, let's make films come true.

A Brit born in Paris and raised in Brussels, Louis has
always been naturally inclined to differences. Noticing them across borders, whether continental or local, cultural or
physical, drawn on a map or heartfelt. But noticing
differences ultimately interested him in what unites us all.

He graduated from the LSE (London School of Economics &
Political Science) to become a diplomat before resolving he could
do so much more through his passion for filmmaking.
Over the last 10 years he has worked in almost every department
of filmmaking - from Camera Assistant to Director of Photography,
Production Assistant to Production Manager, Researcher to
Producer, DIT to Editor. Ultimately, this mix turned him quickly into
a one man band, doing Videography on smaller budgets, and a
Shooting Director on projects requiring a skeleton crew like
Documentaries.

After 1 year of managing up to ten freelancers at a time for some
client projects, it was a natural transition to create a company big
enough for us all - and so Au Fait Films was born.

Quality

Because life’s too short to make something you’re not proud of.

Sustainability

We minimize our carbon costs, including favouring high quality LED lighting, and we offset the rest. For transport, we zip around London on our cargo bike, Horsy.

Innovation

We spend a day a week working on R&D for our own projects to push the boundaries of creativity. This free reign allows us to work together in a different way and experiment with new ideas and technology.

Cost Effectiveness

We can help you create content both of high quality and/or quantity. We understand social media's appetite for content and can optimise each shoot for all forms of media and aspect ratios.
